How we deliver payroll services

Payroll setup and PAYE registration

We set up the payroll scheme, register with HMRC as needed, collect the required employee information, set up pension auto enrolment arrangements and configure the payroll software to the correct pay frequency and structure.

Monthly payroll processing

Each period we process the payroll, calculate PAYE and National Insurance, produce payslips and make the RTI Full Payment Submission to HMRC, confirming the amounts due before the payment date.

What is RTI and why does it matter?

Real Time Information (RTI) requires employers to submit payroll data to HMRC on or before each pay day rather than at year end. Late or incorrect RTI submissions can trigger automatic penalties. We manage RTI submissions as part of every payroll processing cycle, ensuring they are filed accurately and on time.

What are statutory payments and how are they handled?

Statutory payments include Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay and Statutory Adoption Pay. We calculate the correct entitlement, process the payments through payroll, manage the interaction with HMRC and advise on the reclaim position where it applies.

How does auto enrolment work?

Auto enrolment requires employers to automatically enrol eligible employees into a qualifying workplace pension scheme and make minimum contributions. We manage the assessment, enrolment, postponement and contribution calculations, and handle the compliance filings with the Pensions Regulator.

When are P11Ds due?

P11D forms, which report benefits in kind provided to employees and directors, must be submitted to HMRC by 6 July following the end of the tax year. The employer Class 1A National Insurance payment is due by 19 July. We manage both deadlines for all clients with benefit in kind obligations.
